Navgujarat College of Computer Applications successfully organized a Biography Reading Session (Special Reading Session) based on the inspiring life journey of Shri Arunbhai Mehta, a renowned diamond merchant.
The program was attended by the respected Principal, faculty members, and students with great enthusiasm. The main objective of the session was to inspire students through the life story of a great personality and help them learn important life values.
The remarkable journey of Shri Arunbhai Mehta — from humble beginnings in a chawl, to Dhanji Street, and eventually to Antwerp, Belgium — became a powerful source of motivation for all present.
A biography is not just the story of someone’s life, but also a source of motivation for all of us. It teaches us how successful people faced difficulties and overcame challenges in their journey.
During the Book Review Session, faculty members and students shared their thoughts on the values reflected in his life, such as hard work, honesty, dedication, and patience.
One of the most inspiring thoughts that deeply motivated the students was:
“કદમ અસ્થિર હો એને કદી રસ્તો જડતો નથી, અડગ મનનાં મુસાફરને હિમાલય પણ નડતો નથી.”
The session also highlighted the importance of time and determination in achieving one’s dreams through the following inspiring thoughts:
“When you say you will do it tomorrow, your tomorrow will never come.”
“Every morning you have two choices: either sleep and dream, or wake up and chase those dreams.”
“You can never touch the same water of a river twice, because the time that has passed will never come again.”
The session concluded on a highly motivational note, leaving students inspired to pursue their goals with commitment and perseverance.
